- I recently got a USR 33.6K Sportster and it works great so far with connecting
- to my ISP at 28.8K nearly all the time. A weird thing happened today when I
- had the modem offline and the autoanswer function turned off (ATS0=0). When
- I picked up the phone handset, I noticed the AUTOANSWER light would come on.
- Then when I put the handset down, the light would still be on, until I either
- repeatedly toggled the onhook/offhook button on the handset and it would go
- off and also display a `RING'. Else I had to initiate a `ATZ' command to reset
- the modem. Is this a bug?!? I've got the modem set at `AT&F1'. If there's
- anyone that has had this happen, please drop me some mail or follow up this
- post.
